Managing Events .

A powerful aspect of ActivityForum is that it will help you organise and list your club or society events and activities. Individual members can take responsibility for events and publicising them.

Using ActivityForum allows you to:

  • Book / Register online
  • Maintain a calendar
  • Publicise  and share your events and activities to other groups
  • Keep track of bookings for each event
  • Share  event information on with other websites
  • Add  postcode map links
  • Include agenda's and minutes
  • Add images to events
  • List attendees
  • Automatically remove past events from your listings
  • Email events to members
  • Reserve events resource needs
  • Automatically produce a hard copy agenda for distribution
  • Track Payments

Promoting events is always productive, by listing them in ActivityForum you make them visible to search engines. Events can be e-mailed to the membership. Individuals can also e-mail their friends, about events they are interested in.  Giving your members an opportunity to invite a friend to join them, giving potential new members an invitation to join.

The events list can be created by members and posted in the regular bulletins which are often produced by clubs or simply kept at home as a reminder.

Event activities are the primary alternative source of income other than annual subscriptions, ActivityForum has tools in the events system which help you to remind people booked on events and e-mail members that have booked on similar events in the past.

In the dance groups, they e-mail reminders to their membership when the event is on in the evening, this has the effect of increasing participation in the event by 10% at no cost.
