We are people passionate about trees, appreciating trees in all their forms, from individual specimens in gardens and arboreta to small woods, copses and large forests.

We enjoy them because they are good to look at, or good to spend time in, or because they provide shelter and food for wildlife, or provide timber for human use, or protect fragile soil from erosion, or absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and create oxygen.

We enjoy them whether they are natural or man-made, native or exotic. Some of us earn our living directly from trees, others simply share our enthusiasm.
