"Air Pollution: The Greatest Environmental Health Challenge of Our Time" with Prof Sir Stephen Holgate, University Southampton; 7:30pm on Wednesday 23 June.
SUMMARY Air pollution from human activities is most frequently framed in environmental terms without emphasising the enormous damage it is doing to those most vulnerable and to future generations. The time has come to place health at the centre of the debates on air quality and society's right to breathe clean air. This talk follows on from our April event to take a closer look at the health impacts of poor air quality.
