IVC Get Together in London @ "The Yacht"

Save the date. The second regional AIVC meeting to discuss the future of AIVC will take place today on the Top Deck of "The Yacht", situated on the North Bank of the Thames, between Embankment and Temple, in what is known as "The Mayfair of the River".

Located just a short distance from the Houses of Parliament, where the City meets the West End, it boasts magnificent views of the Thames and Southbank. Fear not there will be plenty of opportunity to socialize and relax before the serious business starts. A finger buffet is planned for and there is a cash bar available.

This is a chance to meet members of IVCs in London and other clubs in the South and East plus others from 11:00am - 3.00 pm. Refreshments will be available from 11:00am and a free buffet lunch served at 12.00 pm. This will be followed at 1:00pm by the chance to have your say about the future of IVC regionally and nationally.

Click on 'Book My Place' and book yourself in as a club representative (max 2 per club) or an observer. Each IVC can have up to two Club Representatives, for voting purposes, but Observers will also be able to contribute their views. Full details will follow.

In the evening, there will be several social activities organised including a "Modern Architecture Walk", a trip to the Rembrandt exhibition at the National Gallery and a Carvery Dinner at the Strand Palace Hotel at 6.30pm.
