Join members of Basingstoke IVC Science Cafe for a YouTube live stream of this unique event exploring the hunt for a Covid-19 vaccine. The title of the talk is "COVID-19 AND THE HUNT FOR THE VACCINE: A FRONTLINE ACCOUNT"
Join the Science Museum and a panel of experts including Professor Chris Whitty and others who have been on the UK’s front line response to COVID-19 and the vaccine rollout for this free online talk.
We are almost a year and a half into the pandemic and there is now light at the end of the tunnel thanks to the development of vaccines and treatment. However, COVID-19 remains a threat that we must continue to take seriously.
As society returns to some semblance of normality, it may be all too tempting to let down our guard. The panel will share their experiences of the past eighteen months, why vaccination is key to protecting ourselves and our friends, families and colleagues, and the role that GPs, nurses and educators have in improving understanding of vaccinations.
