Welcome to the IVC in 2006.  This promises to be a special year, as IVC celebrates its 60th anniversary.  For those who have not read the club history, it was in 1946 that IVC made its debut as the "Inter-Varsity Vacation Club", a summer vacation social club for students living in the London area.  The word vacation was dropped from the name several years later once the organisation began arranging events all year round.

There are a number of special inter-club events throughout the year to celebrate reaching this milestone.  If you are interested in any of these events, all you have to do is to contact the organiser.  The details of these events can be found in the club events diary.

Among the events on offer, for those interested in foreign travel, there are trips to Barcelona and the Champagne region of France.  Other similar trips will also be appearing through the year, so keep an eye out for details as these events are organised.
